The ODR 2000 rheometer measures the cure characteristics of compounded rubber in accordance with international testing standards. A sample sealed in a temperature controlled die cavity surrounds a rotor that oscillates at a frequency of 1.67 Hz (100 cpm). The output data correlates with the degree of vulcanization as a function of cure time. The output can be displayed, graphically recorded or transmitted to a computer for further analysis.
Test data
The ODR 2000 automatically calculates the following data points: ML, MH, TS1, TS2, TC10, TC50, TC90, as defined by international standards. These are displayed on the instrument front panel at the end of the test. These results may also be recorded with torque and temperature curves on a printer attached directly to the instrument. Alternatively, the raw data can be sent to an optional PC based data system for further analysis and storage.
